Guest Participation

Guest Consent and Content Usage Policy

Consent process established January 2025 | Expanded policy effective October 23, 2026 | Version 1.0

This policy applies to guests appearing on Sunday SoulDay™ (the “Show”), whether their participation is complimentary or part of a paid amplification package. It explains the permissions granted when a guest affirmatively accepts an interview invitation and these terms.

1. Participation and recording consent

By replying to the interview confirmation email with an affirmative acknowledgment of this policy, you consent to participate in an audio and/or video interview and to the recording of your voice, image, likeness, statements, and participation. Recording will occur using the interview format and technology communicated to you. If you do not agree, please notify us before the interview.

2. Publication and promotional permission

You authorize Sunday SoulDay™ to edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, excerpt, archive, and promote your recorded interview and related materials worldwide, in perpetuity, across current and future media formats. These include podcast and streaming services, video and television outlets, websites, social media, newsletters, press and promotional materials, and The Soul Fueler Journal™. You permit reasonable use of your name, professional biography, voice, image, and likeness in connection with the interview and promotion of the Show.

3. Editorial discretion and integrity

Sunday SoulDay™ determines episode titles, edits, excerpts, release dates, distribution channels, and promotional presentation. The Show may decide not to publish an interview. Editing may be undertaken for length, clarity, quality, and editorial purposes; we aim not to materially distort a guest’s statements. Guests do not receive automatic pre-publication approval or editorial control unless separately agreed in writing.

4. Ownership and underlying rights

Sunday SoulDay™ owns or controls its original recordings, episode edits, show branding, and Show-produced promotional assets, subject to applicable law and any third-party rights. Guests retain ownership of their pre-existing works, trademarks, and other independently owned materials. Participation does not transfer those underlying rights to the Show. Guests confirm they have permission to share any materials they supply for inclusion.

5. Guest use of supplied clips

Guests and their associated organizations receive a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual permission to share Sunday SoulDay™-supplied interview clips on their owned websites, newsletters, and social channels for organic promotion of the guest’s appearance. They may crop, caption, shorten, and resize clips without changing their meaning or context. Please credit or tag Sunday SoulDay™ where reasonably practical. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize sublicensing to unrelated parties.

6. Paid advertising and endorsements

The guest-use permission above does not include paid or boosted advertising, product or service advertisements, paid brand campaigns, merchandise, or uses that imply Sunday SoulDay™ or its host endorses a guest, company, product, or service. Such uses require separate prior written approval and may require a separate license. The Show will likewise seek separate permission before using a guest’s identity to imply an unrelated product endorsement or to sell merchandise featuring that guest.

7. Third-party materials

Music, photographs, footage, logos, artwork, and other materials owned or licensed by third parties are not included in guest reuse permissions unless expressly cleared. If a supplied clip contains third-party elements, the Show may provide a version without those elements or identify relevant restrictions.

8. Accuracy, privacy, and sensitive disclosures

Guests are responsible for the accuracy of factual statements they make and should avoid disclosing confidential information or another person’s private information without authorization. Guests may request a correction or raise a concern by replying to their interview contact. Sunday SoulDay™ will review good-faith concerns but cannot guarantee removal of content already published, downloaded, shared, or distributed by third parties.

9. Compensation and promotional packages

Participation does not create employment, a partnership, or entitlement to appearance fees, royalties, or a share of advertising revenue unless separately agreed in writing. Any paid guest amplification package covers only the deliverables confirmed in writing; purchasing a package does not purchase ownership of recordings, unlimited commercial licensing, or editorial control.

10. Scheduling, cancellation, and continued availability

Either party may request to reschedule or cancel before recording. Once recorded, publication remains at Sunday SoulDay™’s editorial discretion. Published episodes and permitted promotional materials may remain available indefinitely. Requests for changes or removal will be considered individually, without a promise that removal from third-party services is possible.

11. Changes and questions

The policy version shared with the guest at the time of affirmative acceptance governs that interview unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. Later website updates do not retroactively change the agreed terms. Questions or requests for additional permissions should be directed by reply to the Sunday SoulDay™ interview correspondence.
